901 Bank Street, 2nd Floor, Ottawa, ON, K1S 3W5

Mitchel completed his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Ottawa. Following a life-changing concussion, he chose to pivot his career path and enrolled in Algonquin College’s Massage Therapy program. Drawing on his own experience managing a brain injury and his background as a former NCAA lacrosse athlete, Mitchel brings deep empathy and unique insight to his clinical practice. His formal training has focused on orthopedic conditions, and he plans to continue his education with a special interest in neurological rehabilitation and the connection between the nervous system and musculoskeletal health. During his training, Mitchel gained hands-on experience in specialized clinics, including sports massage, prenatal massage, and post-surgical scar care. Mitchel’s treatment style combines several techniques: lymphatic drainage to reduce swelling, myofascial release to restore posture and optimize joint movement, and classical Swedish massage to promote relaxation and recovery. Outside of the clinic, Mitchel serves as an assistant coach for the University of Ottawa Men’s Lacrosse Team. He also enjoys swing and salsa dancing, playing the drums, and advocating for concussion and brain injury awareness—having authored blogs aimed at reducing stigma around concussions.
