Bodies On Point
2040 East 28th Ave, Denver, CO, 80205
Having worked with my own body and other bodies as a dancer, a performer, and a dance teacher, I have relied on and reaped the benefits of those gifted and versed in the art of healing and restoring the body to its optimum state. During the twenty years, I was dancing with a modern dance company in San Francisco, I apprenticed with Stephen Coleman LAc, CMT, who is the master of keeping the dancers of the community on their feet and healthy. I fell in love with learning about the body, how it works, how to go about restoring it, when it is injured or impaired, and about how the body is interconnected with every other aspect of our complex selves. When I returned home to Colorado, I decided to continue the journey. I am a licensed graduate of the Denver Integrative Massage School, where I furthered my study of Deep Tissue and Swedish techniques, as well as learned Thai, Thai for the Table, Myofascial Release, and Prenatal massage. My ongoing desire and goal is to deeply listen to each person and their body and to work with them to find pathways to their optimum health.
