Devon grew up in the Cowichan Valley and graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2010. Having grown up playing soccer, softball, and hockey, she has always had a strong appreciation for movement, an active lifestyle, and the importance of taking care of your body. She loves spending time outdoors and enjoying everything Vancouver Island has to offer. Devon takes a whole-person approach to massage therapy, recognizing that how we feel in our bodies can be influenced by much more than a single area of pain or tension. Her goal is to understand what each client is experiencing, address their immediate concerns, and help them develop a better awareness of their bodies along the way. Her treatments blend relaxation-focused massage with more targeted work to areas of tension and discomfort, creating a treatment that is both therapeutic and restorative. Devon enjoys working with a wide variety of clients and tailoring each treatment to their individual needs, lifestyle, and goals. She believes massage therapy can be valuable not only when something hurts, but also as part of a regular routine to help maintain mobility, manage everyday stress, and keep the body feeling its best. In recent years, Devon has also developed a particular interest in working with teenage dancers and athletes. She enjoys helping young athletes better understand their bodies, work through injuries, and recognize areas of tension or imbalance before they become bigger concerns. She believes that developing body awareness and healthy habits at a young age can help support an active and healthy lifestyle for years to come. Devon is excited to join the team at Start Line Health and looks forward to creating a welcoming space where clients can feel heard, supported, and comfortable taking time to care for themselves.
