Deanna Shinsky is a California Board Licensed Acupuncturist and Nationally Certified Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Practitioner. She earned her Master’s and Doctoral degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science with a specialization in Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego. Deanna combines a strong Western science background with the power of Eastern medicine to deliver results-driven, personalized care. Her clinical training includes experience in a hospital setting in Vietnam, along with advanced coursework in herbal medicine and sports medicine, equipping her to effectively treat pain, support injury recovery, and enhance physical performance. She is passionate about helping patients reduce pain, improve sleep, manage stress, and feel their best. Her approach focuses on helping you reach your health and wellness goals—whether that means waking up pain-free, sleeping deeply through the night, or having the energy to fully enjoy your life. By blending time-tested techniques with a modern understanding of the body, Deanna creates treatments that are both restorative and transformative.
