Wendy is a Registered Massage Therapist in British Columbia with a diverse background in Traditional Chinese Medicine, rehabilitation, and therapeutic massage. She studied Traditional Chinese Medicine and Clinical Medicine at Changchun University of Chinese Medicine in China and later completed her massage therapy education at Vancouver Career College in British Columbia. With over 20 years of combined experience in healthcare, massage therapy, and wellness services, Wendy brings a well-rounded approach to patient care. She has experience treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, including acute and chronic pain, sports-related injuries, muscle tension, postural imbalances, and movement restrictions. Wendy incorporates a range of therapeutic techniques into her treatments, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization, Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), kinesiology taping, prenatal massage, and hot stone massage. She also provides individualized home-care recommendations and therapeutic exercises to support recovery and long-term wellness. As a former high school athlete and passionate road cyclist, Wendy understands firsthand the physical challenges of sports injuries and recovery. Her personal experiences have strengthened her appreciation for rehabilitation and the importance of maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle. Wendy believes in a patient-centred approach, tailoring each treatment to individual needs and goals. Her focus is on reducing pain, improving mobility, restoring physical function, and helping patients return to the activities they enjoy.
