Dr. Janey Jim is a chiropractor with over 20 years of experience. She graduated magna cum laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with specialty training in Chiropractic Clinical Sciences and holds a Master’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of British Columbia. Dr. Jim is certified in perinatal and pediatric chiropractic through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and collaborates with The Midwifery Group in Vancouver. Dr. Jim supports women through the physical discomforts of pregnancy and is certified in Webster Technique—a pelvic alignment method used to reduce pelvic-related pain and optimize the pelvic passage for vaginal delivery. She also supports patients with postpartum recovery, pelvic floor rehabilitation, C-section scar care, and neck and back pain. Because the pelvic floor and feet are anatomically connected, gait analysis and foot rehabilitation are incorporated in particularly challenging cases. Janey provides safe, gentle, evidence-based care for babies and children, supporting motor development and addressing concerns like tongue-tie, colic, and breastfeeding challenges. Using light, hands-on adjustments and personalized exercises, she helps infants with latch or movement issues and supports toddlers and older children with posture, balance, and gait, laying the foundation for healthy growth and movement. Dr. Jim has a special interest in female athletes, having competed at both national and international levels in Ultimate Frisbee. In her clinical practice, she combines gentle joint adjustments with soft tissue techniques such as Active Release Techniques (ART) and the Graston Technique to treat everyday aches, sports injuries, and persistent muscle or nerve issues. She is a certified Master’s-level provider of both ART and Graston and integrates spinal and extremity care with Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) to support recovery, performance, and mobility for patients of all activity levels.
