Gavin Fan is a registered kinesiologist whose approach to injury recovery is functionally and strategically strengthening and relieving pain in an injured area of your body within your capabilities. He will approach the injured area directly and also strengthen areas of the body which support the area that he is targeting. He also has a keen awareness of when to progress and regress movements or the intensity of a movement (or a session plan as a whole). Growing up as a competitive athlete and through other life circumstances, Gavin knows what it is like to suffer injuries and heal from them and deeply enjoys helping people to do the same. He earned his bachelor's degree in human kinetics at Trinity Western University in Langley, BC in 2023 and became a registered kinesiologist in 2024. On top of being a kinesiologist, he has been certified as a personal trainer under the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 2022. He loves working with a diverse range of people with different needs and has had many different opportunities in different settings to do so. This includes people with different injuries and ailments, athletes in different sports and levels of play, and people of different fitness levels who want to improve their overall health and body composition. At the foundation, he has a heart that genuinely wants to understand you, your injuries, and your goals, so he can ensure that an effective approach is taken to help get you where you need to be.
