Dr. Charity Au is a registered Naturopathic Doctor who blends evidence-based natural medicine with a trauma-informed, patient-centred approach. She is passionate about helping individuals understand their health concerns and reconnect with their bodies through a compassionate and collaborative process. Her practice is grounded in root-cause medicine—identifying and addressing the underlying drivers of imbalance to support long-term healing and resilience. She combines modern diagnostics with naturopathic therapies, diet and lifestyle counselling, supplementation, acupuncture, and IV therapy to create personalized care plans that honour the whole person. Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Au plays an active role in the academic and educational advancement of integrative medicine. As a teaching assistant at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) and a course instructor at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN), she helps shape clinical education, mentor future healthcare providers, and advance the integration of evidence-based natural medicine into mainstream care. She is also a passionate public educator and guest speaker, regularly delivering talks and workshops on natural health topics. Through this work, she aims to increase public awareness, reduce stigma around complex health concerns, and empower individuals to take charge of their wellbeing.
