Dan earned his Bachelor of Physical and Health Education from Nipissing University, followed by his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at The University of Toronto. Since graduation, Dan has worked in private practice treating a variety of musculoskeletal/neurological conditions. He has continued his professional development through courses in manual therapy from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Dan has also taken additional courses in K-Taping, The McKenzie Method, and acupuncture. He is a certified Sport First Responder and is currently working towards obtaining his Sports Physiotherapy Certificate. He has provided on-field coverage for a variety of sporting events including the Canadian Sledge Hockey championships, the Ontario Winter Games, the Muskoka Half Ironman, and spent a few years as the athletic trainer for the Elmira Sugar Kings Jr. B hockey club before taking a break to spend time with his newborn son. Dan’s approach to treatment involves a combination of manual therapy techniques, patient education, and progressive tissue loading to enable his patients to return to a healthy active lifestyle. In his spare time Dan enjoys playing sports such as hockey and golf, working out, cooking, making far too many fancy espresso based drinks and going on hikes with his wife and son.
