Caleb M Dotson, PT, DPT, Astym Certified, BYT Certified Coach My passion is, and always has been empowering people to maximize their quality of life. In high school I led and participated in numerous community-focused organizations. At Washington State University I designed and taught an elective course which equipped students to put their best foot forward in seeking employment. At every turn, it seems, I find myself connecting with people and equipping them to identify and overcome obstacles. Naturally, this passion led to earning my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University. Since earning my doctorate, I practiced in southern Oregon two years and then in several clinics in the greater Spokane, Washington area. It was during this time I observed how the current healthcare system can be a barrier to people’s health and wellness. So, in 2020 I decided to do something radically different; to provide a better solution than the traditional model and paradigms allow. Own Your Health Physiotherapy is part of this solution. It allows me to work for my patients, not their insurance company. It allows me to connect people with the specialist(s) they need, even if that means sending their business elsewhere. It also allows me to help people identify their goals and potential, empowering them to own their own health. “Our bodies are a beautifully complex collection of interrelated systems and processes. To overlook or undervalue any of these is to risk not realizing our potential.”
