David is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (DOMP) who believes that what we do today shapes who we will be in the future. When working with David and his osteopathic approach, you will be on the path to removing postural imbalances, areas of restricted motion and muscular tension. He will consider the extent of all your concerns and design a plan geared towards balancing the body, its various systems and address the underlying restrictions found in motion testing. Identifying the root cause of your limitations is the primary goal. David recognizes that every individual is unique and through an integrated approach of assessment and treatment, he will utilize soft tissue techniques, joint mobilizations, muscle energy and fascial stretch therapy to improve the movement quality and overall tissue health. He seeks to improve mobility in the entire body and specializes in identifying restrictions of the spine, hips and shoulders. David is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with over twenty years’ experience as a personal trainer and fitness consultant. He has studied various disciplines in health and wellness and holds a Master’s degree in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences, an Honours degree in Kinesiology and Diplomas in Massage Therapy, Fitness & Lifestyle Management and Osteopathic Manual Practice. Furthermore, David has experience as a college professor where he designed and implemented courses in biomechanics, ergonomics and personal training.
