Your first physiotherapy appointment is a comprehensive assessment designed to understand your concerns, identify contributing factors, and establish your treatment goals. Your physiotherapist will review your health history and assess relevant movement, strength, mobility, posture, and function. Based on the findings, you will receive an individualized treatment and rehabilitation plan. Important: This appointment is intended for orthopedic/musculoskeletal concerns, such as back, neck, shoulder, knee, hip, sports, and other muscle or joint-related conditions. Please do not book this appointment for pelvic floor or pelvic health concerns. For pelvic pain, urinary or bowel concerns, sexual health concerns, pregnancy/postpartum concerns, or other pelvic floor issues, please book a Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Initial Assessment instead. What to wear: Please wear comfortable clothing that allows your physiotherapist to properly assess the affected area. Shorts and/or a sports bra may be recommended depending on the area of injury. You are welcome to bring appropriate clothing and change at the clinic if needed.
