Tina Brown, Licensed Massage Therapist, received her therapeutic massage certificate from IUPUI. She is a doctoral candidate in Health and Human Sciences at Indiana University, with a focus on massage therapy research. Her specific research interests include: social media communications in massage therapy, massage therapy and provider communications, massage for post-surgical care, massage therapist burnout, and massage for pain management. Tina has been a massage therapist for more than two decades. She specializes in various massage techniques such as deep tissue, Swedish, prenatal, lymphatic, and hot stone massage. In 2020, she helped launch the Therapeutic Massage program at the Ivy Tech Lawrence campus, where she created and managed the student massage therapist clinical lab and was the program instructor.
