Born and raised in Hong Kong and mainland China, Nathan came to Canada 10 years ago to study in the Human Kinetics Kinesiology program at TWU. During which, he worked as a student athletic trainer where he first experienced helping athletes recover from injuries through massage, rehab exercises, and hydrotherapy. Following graduation, he studied at Vancouver Career College in order to follow his passion to become an RMT, and is now a practicing Registered Massage Therapist. Nathan enjoys working with a variety of patients from different backgrounds, and is most interested in helping people who suffers from muscle tension, headaches, frozen shoulder, as well as work-related & sports injuries. In his treatments, Nathan likes to utilize a combination of different techniques during his massage to help provide the best care tailored for his patients’ needs & goals. These techniques include Swedish massage, trigger point & myofascial release, and joint mobilization. He will also provide his patients with an action plan with various stretching and strengthening exercises to ensure that patients continue to get better outside of the treatment room. When he’s not at the clinic, you can find Nathan snowboarding at Cypress mountain, hiking, camping, and sport activities with his friends.
