Dr Emily Valenzuela is a Licensed Acupuncturist by the California Acupuncture Board and is Board Certified by NCCAOM the national acupuncture board. She holds a Doctorate and Master of Science Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Sciences in San Diego, CA. Emily has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota. She is also a Certified Clinical Nutritionist from the Clinical Nutrition Certification Board. Dr Valenzuela has studied functional medicine along with Chinese medicine for almost two decades. She has held many positions working along side Western Medical Professionals over the course of her career. She is very comfortable treating each patient as a unique individual striving to heal the root of the problem. Combining her strong Western and Eastern background allows Dr Emily Valenzuela to achieve the best possible outcome for her patients.
