Maria Kandilas is a Registered Massage Therapist and Athletic Therapist. Maria graduated in 2023 from the Ontario College of Health and Technology with a diploma in Massage Therapy and is currently registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. She graduated in 2022, from York University with an honours degree in Kinesiology and a certificate in Athletic Therapy. Maria has been working with patients at the Orthopaedic Centre for over a year as a Certified Athletic Therapist and has successfully treated many of the area’s high school athletes and members of the Hamilton Tiger Cats. Maria works closely with every patient to customize a focused plan to reduce and prevent pain using a wide variety of soft tissue techniques. Maria also draws from her Athletic Therapy background to incorporate stretches and exercises to improve outcomes and enhance the care that she provides to her patients. When she is not at the clinic, Maria spends her time hiking and trying out new restaurants with her friends.
