I love to help people feel better! When a client comes in with a crick in the neck, back pain, shoulder issues going down into the arm, edema resulting from a mastectomy, etc., it absolutely makes my day to see that person walk out of the clinic with a smile on their face, feeling much better than when they came in.
Massage
Massage pressure and techniques are customized based on the client's current needs and can range anywhere from the smooth gentle flow of Swedish type massage to deep tissue massage focused on the client's problem spots.
Lymphatic Drainage
Working only as deep as the skin, and using gentle rythmic movements, manual lymph drainage helps to stimulate the flow of the lymphatic system. This is especially beneficial for people with edema or lymphedema as it helps to decrease swelling. MLD also helps to: decrease pain; lessen migraines and chronic headaches; ease rheumatoid and osteo arthritis; cut down sinus congestion; heal repetitive strain injury, whiplash and other trauma-induced conditions.
