Susan’s focus of practice is working with patients who have swelling and scar tissue, including cording affecting activities of daily living. Her modalities include myofascial therapy, manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) and general swedish massage to help patients recover from hip or knee replacements, mastectomies or lumpectomies and to help with general wellness for oncology patients and patients who have lymphedema. Working with a light to moderate depth of pressure, she provides a therapeutic treatment to reduce swelling and scar tissue that cause dysfunction in the tissues. ** Please note: Susan does not offer deep tissue massage ** Susan offers direct billing to Pacific Blue Cross, Greenshield, SunLife and the extended health plan insurers that use the Telus Health Portal, which includes Canada Life.
