As a highly experienced Registered Physiotherapist, Brooke is passionate about treating knee injuries, especially ACL tears and ACL repairs. Since 2007, she has been dedicated to helping patients of all ages with various types of injuries recover and get back to the activities they love. Brooke’s approach to physiotherapy combines education and exercise with hands-on techniques to guide her patients through their recovery. Having the experience of sustaining a major injury as a competitive athlete, Brooke understands the physical and emotional frustration that can go along with an injury and the desire to return to their sport. Her interest in knees began from both her own experiences of receiving physiotherapy as a child and the research she conducted for her first Masters degree. Brooke is knowledgeable in all aspects of ACL injuries, from prevention and rehabilitation to return to play. Throughout her life, Brooke has been an avid sports enthusiast, participating in activities such as swimming, baseball, golf, badminton, skiing and curling. Her Queen’s curling team medaled at the Ontario Universities Athletics (OUA) three years in a row. Nowadays, Brooke’s sporting life has taken a backseat to exploring with her three young boys. She looks forward to getting back to the ice soon.
