Multiple certifications in the Assessment and Treatment of Running Injuries Multiple certifications in Pain Science and in the assessment and treatment of individuals with Persistent Pain Certified in Functional Dry Needling Certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Functional Movement Systems (FMS) I earned my Master of Physiotherapy from Queen’s University after receiving my Bachelor of Kinesiology, Major in Athletic Therapy from the University of Calgary. I have taken numerous post-graduate courses and over the years have developed a passion for helping runners, from the novice to elite athlete. While running related injuries make up much of my practice, I still maintain a keen interest in all musculoskeletal injuries in the general and high performance populations. I believe in staying up to date with evidence based practices and draw on my strong knowledge and skills of exercise and pain science to develop a high quality, individualized treatment plan that is right for you. I am an avid runner and soccer player and enjoy training and competing in 10km and half marathon races. Originally from Calgary, I love spending time in the mountains and traveling with my family. “We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop we stop playing” - George Bernard Shaw
