I am a licensed massage therapist. I am licensed by the CAMTC (California Massage Therapy Council), and am a member of ABMP (Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals). I am passionate about self-care, health, wellness, and pain management. I wholeheartedly believe that a holistic approach to health and wellness is integral in optimizing wellbeing. I have sustained neck and shoulder injuries, including two shoulder surgeries. I know what it’s like to have chronic pain, be under-treated and feel like a number. Because of this experience I’m committed to providing focused compassionate care and helping clients better manage wellness and chronic pain. My massage skills include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, MediCupping, Body Contouring, Clinical Massage, and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM). My intention with the bodywork I perform is to allow the body to relax, reset, and recuperate.
Massage
Massage oil or cream is used with smooth, gliding strokes. Swedish massage uses firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension and create other health benefits. It is a classic massage that will ease your stress and allow you to slip into a calm state of relaxation.
Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic Drainage is a very gentle light massage that helps to direct lymphatic fluid towards the lymph nodes. The lymphatic system is part of your immune system and cleans toxins, proteins, cancer cells, viruses, and dead cells about 20 times faster than the body is able to do on it's own. Once a large amount of toxins are eliminated, the body is able to relax more deeply and use it's energy more directly to regenerate the cells.
