Margaret (Peg) McMartin, MT – Peg received her diploma from ICT Northumberland College and has been a practicing massage therapist in Halifax since 2000. She is an active member in good standing and volunteer for the Massage Therapists’ Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS). She is the current Chair of the Conference Committee and a member the Regulation Committee. She blends a variety of Swedish Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, and Suidoko techniques into her balanced treatment approach. She welcomes the challenge of assisting her clients to maintain a healthy approach to their self care. Peg joined the faculty of CCMH Halifax in 2005 and is an Instructor and a Clinic Supervisor in the CCMH Student Intern Clinic. An advocate for volunteerism, Peg has provided volunteer massage experiences at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Science Centre, Sunshine Room, for ten years. As well she has participated in various sporting events held in Halifax as both a massage therapist and volunteer.
