Dr. Teresa Cargnelli is a chiropractor with a strong foundation in exercise rehabilitation and movement-based care. She holds a Diploma in Kinesiology from Douglas College, a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology, and earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. Before becoming a chiropractor, Teresa worked as a kinesiologist and exercise leader, supporting individuals with chronic pain, orthopedic injuries, and motor vehicle accident recovery. Her approach blends hands-on chiropractic care with individualized exercise programming and education to help patients move better, feel stronger, and build lasting resilience. She utilizes a variety of evidence-informed therapies, including spinal and extremity manipulation, soft tissue techniques, instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy, and cupping. In addition to her rehabilitation background, Teresa has experience working in sport. She has supported the BC Lions and worked with the Douglas College Royals softball and soccer teams over two seasons, assisting with injury management and return-to-play progression. She also brings experience coaching basketball, further shaping her understanding of athletic development and performance. Outside of the clinic, Teresa enjoys hiking, strength training, and rucking. She values staying connected with her community and spending time with friends, exploring local spots, and being outdoors with her dog, Ruby.
