Stefanie has been practicing massage therapy for two years and she is a graduate of the Centennial College massage therapy program with honors. Her dream of becoming a massage therapist came from a deep-rooted desire to get into the healthcare field; having experienced illness and disability within her immediate family, her passion for helping others heal is a personal journey. Her approach to health care centers around the desire to understand her clients beyond just their physical goals. She believes that in order to help her clients efficiently, open communication is important for treatment to be thorough and successful always. Stefanie has worked with various populations from young athletes to seniors, and is experienced in addressing common orthopedic injuries due to overuse, wear and tear, sports injuries or stress. Techniques practiced are General Swedish massage, hot stone massage, rhythmic & joint mobilizations, frictioning, passive stretching, trigger point release, myofascial release, prenatal massage, intra/extra-oral for TMJD and general relaxation. Clients can expect a treatment tailored to their specific goals, followed by beneficial self-care that aligns with their treatment goals.
