Dr. Alan completed his Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the Faculty of Life Sciences at McMaster University, after which time he decided to pursue his career in chiropractic. He completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Dr. Alan has also completed his certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University, as well as in Integrative Acupuncture Professional Practice Certificate from York University. Dr. Alan is also certified in Neurokinetic Therapy Level 1 and GLA:D Knee/Hip OA Programs. He continues to further his knowledge base by taking advanced manual therapy courses and volunteering his time within the profession. Dr. Alan firmly believes in treating his patients using an evidence-based, integrative approach to treat the root cause of injury and dysfunction to help them recover quickly and prevent future recurrences. Dr. Alan utilizes manual joint and soft tissue techniques, acupuncture, modalities as well as rehabilitative exercises to help patients decrease pain and restore function to the affected muscles, joints and nervous system. Dr. Alan is active member, in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario and is also a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association and the Ontario Chiropractic Association.
