I know what it feels like to want to make the health of your body a priority and not feel like you have enough time. We all want to be well and feel healthy. I believe your body is capable of extraordinary things, and sometimes we need a little help to get there. I love my job every single day I come to work. Massage therapy can make such a difference in how people feel and how their body can move. I feel fortunate to be part of that positive change. In treatment, I work with my patients to find out what it is they need to be well. We always work together to achieve your short term and long-term goals for treatment. Everyone’s journey is different, so the goals are different for every person, and I am happy to meet you wherever you are at. A little bit about me: I graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy and have been working as an RMT since 2006. I have been teaching RMT students since 2012 as I feel passionate about influencing the next generation of RMTs. Some of my other career highlights include being a program and regional coordinator for a local college, creating a continuing education company that taught the latest research to RMTs, and helping to write the textbook Evidence Informed Massage Therapy. I have my Bachelor of Health Science, and recently completed my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology. In my spare time you can usually find me out with my dog, on the water paddle-boarding, or at a bakery trying to find the best new pastry.
