Ivy Xiao is a General Registered TCM practitioner and Acupuncturist in College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners of Ontario. She completed a five year program and graduated from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, one of the top TCM universities in China, with a bachelor’s degree of medicine in 1991. Awarded the honor educated student, she was invited to work in the university hospital as a Combination of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine doctor. She is an expert in infertility, gynecological disorder, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease and pain treatment . After finished her master courses in 2000 finished her master courses in 2000, she immigrated to Canada and worked as a medical researcher in Obstetrics & Gynecology department, Sunnybrook and Women’s College Hospital, University of Toronto. She also is an active member of CMTO. Additionally, as a warm, caring and experienced practitioner, Ivy is very expert in creating positive patient relations, she always conduct patients care, determine the nature of a patient’s condition. Her practice characteristic is emphasize the harmony between human being and nature, using nature herbs and acupuncture needles directly reach the lesion and devising appropriate treatment plan to gain the maximal effects.
