Alyson is a Registered Physiotherapist with a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto and has been practicing since 2018. She has a passion for both orthopaedic physiotherapy and pelvic health physiotherapy, helping patients build strength, move with confidence, and return to the activities that matter most to them. In orthopaedic physiotherapy, she works with patients recovering from injuries, persistent pain, and surgery, with a focus on restoring strength, mobility, function, and confidence. She uses an evidence-based approach to help patients understand their condition and develop a rehabilitation plan that fits their goals and lifestyle. Her Pelvic Health Physiotherapy practice includes care for pregnancy and postpartum recovery, pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, bladder and bowel concerns, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti, and pelvic floor dysfunction. She has advanced training in male and female urinary incontinence and persistent pelvic pain, with additional education in pregnancy-related pelvic conditions, pelvic organ prolapse, trauma-informed care, and genitourinary syndrome of menopause. She believes physiotherapy should be individualized to each person. Her goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, supported, and confident in their care.
