Alana enrolled in the Massage Therapy program at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy after a determined search to find a career where she could utilize her ever growing interest in health and the human body to help others achieve a higher quality of life. She graduated from the 3000 hour program in November 2013 and soon after became registered with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. She has found great success by allowing herself to adapt to each patient’s individual needs, no matter what their reason for seeking massage therapy may be. During a treatment with Alana you can expect her to work as deep into tissue as necessary to relieve tension, break down adhesions, promote healing, and increase mobility. She knows from experience the important role that correct posture, stretching, and body awareness plays in the ability to function at your greatest capacity and always educates her patients on how to do the same. A North Shore girl through and through, Alana loves the outdoors and enjoys all the benefits of leading an active lifestyle. She spends her free time running and hiking through the North Shore trails, enjoying the snow on the local mountains, surfing in Tofino, and practicing yoga.
