Tamara has been practicing therapeutic massage since 1996 when she graduated from the Therapeutic Massage Training Institute in Charlotte, NC. Since graduating Tamara has worked in both clinical and spa settings, including Sasanqua Spa on Kiawah Island, SC; The Mom Spa in Mount Pleasant SC; and most recently The Spa at Eseeola Lodge in Linville, NC. Tamara has accumulated 100’s of hours of Continuing education, which include certifications in Prenatal/Postnatal Massage, Massage Cupping, Myofacial Release, Medical Massage, Craniosacral, Reflexology and much more. Tamara grew up in the foothills of NC and is excited to be joining AmaZen Day Spa in the heart of Morganton.
Massage
Calm and comfort are evoked as you experience the sensation of warmed basalt stones placed under the body. More warm stones are then incorporated into the massage strokes as you drift into a state of deep relaxation.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a technique that focuses on specific pressure points within your feet to help correct energy flows throughout your body.
