Minh obtained his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo in 2000 and went on to complete his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2003. Minh has recently returned home to Ottawa after spending the past 5 years in British Columbia in the beautiful Okanagan Valley. Previously he worked in Ottawa for more than 10 years at a busy manual therapy and exercise based orthopedic clinic. Just out of school, he worked in Toronto at a high performance sports medicine clinic, working with varsity and professional teams. As a therapist with Canada Basketball, Minh traveled with the Junior Men’s Team to U19 FIBA World Championships and other tournaments in several countries including Argentina, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, New Zealand, Serbia and the United States. In addition to his experience in sports physiotherapy, he qualified for the Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2010 and was certified as a Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) practitioner in 2011. Minh has assisted in the instruction of the postgraduate manual and manipulative education program of the CPA Orthopaedic Division and continues to mentor fellow physiotherapists. Minh believes in using manual therapy to address joint and soft tissue restrictions, while emphasizing patient specific exercises to address muscle imbalance and motor pattern dysfunctions.
