Dr. Jun Wang is a registered acupuncturist and has worked in Alberta, Ontario and The People’s Republic of China. She now has 28 years of clinical experience in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She graduated from The Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1994 with a major in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She then worked at the Tianjin Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital as a Registered Resident for six years. She was promoted to a Registered Attending Doctor in 2001, and spent several years supervising resident doctors and medical students at the hospital. Dr. Wang has a passion for helping people recover from injuries and disorders that may not have responded well to other forms of treatment. She is an expert at treating several conditions including vertigo, dizziness, headaches, migraines, motor vehicle accident (MVA) injuries, tendonitis, bursitis, knee problems, shoulder pain, neck pain, back pain, heel pain, acute and chronic pain, arthritis, Bell’s Palsy, insomnia, digestive issues, and many other conditions. She has also published research articles on the therapeutic effects of acupuncture for disorders such as insomnia and depression, as well as a book answering questions about disorders related to the dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system.
This is for new patients to Dr. Wang and includes both the consultation and first treatment.
