Hello there! I am originally from California born and raised. I enlisted into the Marine Corps several years after high school and served five honorable years as an electrician on aircraft. Toward the end of my term I discovered massage therapy and became enthralled with the holistic approach to wellness. I went to school at Career Networks Institute and became certified. I have been board certified for a little over 16 years and have enjoyed the benefitsof learning all aspects of the trade. I specialize in therapeutic deep muscle therapy as well as head/neck/shoulder release. I have worked as an employee and independent contractor at several high end spas, clinics, chiropractic offices, boutiques and hotels. I am now taking the next step to owning my own business at Beaufort Massage & Bodywork in South Carolina as well as being a mother to two boys. In my spare time I enjoy scrap booking, ancestry, riding bikes and checking out local festivals.
Myoskeletal alignment technique is a type of bodywork which blends the principles of osteopathy and structural integration to relieve chronic pain. This technique is often integrated into regular massage and bodywork sessions, and it can also be used alone to treat systemic problems. The focus of this technique is on back and neck pain in particular.
