Austin received her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University, and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Health Sciences & Honour’s Bachelor of Health Science from Western University. As a resident physiotherapist, Austin takes a holistic approach to care, listening to what is most important to each patient. She strongly believes in empowering her patients to be active participants in their care, through every stage of recovery. She uses a combination of manual therapy, targeted exercises, and education to improve patients’ quality of life and help them reach their goals. Austin has worked with individuals of all ages and abilities, from varsity athletes and ultra-marathoners to post-stroke care. With clinical experience in orthopedic and musculoskeletal assessment, she works closely with her patients to develop personalized treatment plans thatsupport their unique goals—whether it’s recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or improving everyday mobility. In addition to spending as much time outside as possible, she spends her free time cycling, skiing, swimming, or reading a good book!
