Dr. Alex Stratton, PT, DPT, LAT, ATC, CES, PES, Cert. DN Physical Therapist | Certified Athletic Trainer | Educator Alex is a skilled and dedicated physical therapist and certified athletic trainer with 9 years of combined experience in the fields of athletic training, physical therapy, and manual therapy. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of Charleston in West Virginia, and later completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Wheeling University, also in West Virginia. With certifications in Dry Needling through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy, as well as Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Alex offers a unique and comprehensive approach to patient care. These advanced qualifications enable her to provide tailored treatment plans that support musculoskeletal health and optimize athletic performance. Throughout her career, Alex has developed a strong foundation in musculoskeletal assessment and treatment and has had the opportunity to work with a wide array of patients—from youth athletes to collegiate-level players, active-duty military personnel, and those in post-surgical recovery. Her expertise spans the full continuum of care, ensuring that each patient receives the attention and rehabilitation necessary to regain mobility, strength, and performance. In addition to her clinical work, Alex is passionate about teaching and currently serves as an adjunct professor in the exercise science department at Winthrop University. In her free time, Alex enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and her dog, Jeanie. She loves outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, and going to the beach—activities that keep her energized and connected to nature.
