Registered Massage Therapist The human body and how it works are fascinating to me. Even more interesting is how body manipulation can create positive change in an individual’s condition. As an RMT, I am very much compelled by assisting patients in reaching their goals. My love of sport and physical activity prompted interests in medicine and the body; becoming a registered massage therapist progressed logically from those interests. Now I have the privilege of helping clients achieve a wide range of objectives — everything from recovering from injury to general conditioning, from getting ready for a triathlon to having the physical capacity to play a musical instrument. With a Diploma in Massage Therapy from Sir Sandford Fleming College, I have completed three years of a BSc in Physical Education at York University. Registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), I am a member the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO). I have worked with professional athletes and helped educate medical residents and Sports Medicine Fellows about massage therapy.
If this is your first massage therapy session at our clinic or your first massage therapy session with Christine your time will include review of your health history form and assessment of the reason for which you are attending the massage therapy session as is required by the CMTO.
