Deacon completed his Bachelor of Health Science with a major in Kinesiology at Ontario Tech University in 2017 where he graduated with Distinction. He then graduated with honours from Durham College in 2020 where he completed his advanced diploma in Massage Therapy. While completing his diploma, he worked as a Registered Kinesiologist in the Durham Region where he treated a wide variety of clients in a multidisciplinary clinical setting. His approach to therapy is to adapt the treatment based on each individual patient using a combination of Swedish and Deep-tissue Massage, Cupping Therapy, Kinesio Taping, Therapeutic Exercise, instrument-assisted and manual Soft-tissue manipulation, and evidence-based Orthopedic Physical Assessment. Deacon is passionate about using his knowledge and skills gained from his over 5 years of working in the field of rehabilitation and wellness to help each of his patients alleviate their pain, reduce their stress, improve their movement, and reach their goals.
