My career is rooted in a profound dedication to enhancing education, strengthening community support, and providing personalized services that foster resilience and empowerment. By combining professional expertise, personal growth, and an ongoing passion for meaningful exploration, I have cultivated a holistic approach to healing and wellness. I began my journey in Massage Therapy in 2007 at the Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage , driven by a fascination with the body’s nonverbal communication—a realization sparked during a transformative craniosacral therapy session of my own. Inspired by this experience, I pursued specialized training in Craniosacral Therapy immediately after college, where I gained a deeper appreciation for how the body holds and reflects life’s experiences, including trauma from childhood, adulthood, and intergenerational sources. In 2020, I deepened my expertise by training as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, which I successfully completed in September 2024. This advanced training has allowed me to better understand and address the physiological manifestations of stress and trauma, enabling individuals to reconnect with their bodies and find a path toward healing. Beyond clinical work : For the past 9 years I have also focused my time on youth advocacy work and also earning a social work technician designation. This work has allowed me to be on the front lines of crisis intervention , planning and executing youth leardship and after school programs for high risk indigenous youth. My commitment to the wellbeing of people in all aspects of body , mind and soul has aloud me to flourish as a therapist and educator. As part of my work in trauma management and recovery. I have also developed The Somatic Apple Tree Workshop , which allows individuals to creatively connect the dots of their life story and experience through interactive art. I have also contributed to the creation of Heart to Heart an equine facilitated workshop for healing . En combinant expertise professionnelle, croissance personnelle et une passion continue pour l’exploration significative, j’ai cultivé une approche holistique de la guérison et du bien-être.J’ai entamé mon parcours en massothérapie en 2007 au Collège Atlantique de Massage Thérapeutique, pousée par une fascination pour la communication non verbale du corps une réalisation déclenchée lors d’une séance transformatrice de thérapie crânio-sacrée que j’ai moi-même expérimentée. Inspirée par cette expérience, j’ai poursuivi une formation spécialisée en Thérapie Crânio-Sacrée juste après le collège, où j’ai acquis une appréciation plus profonde de la manière dont le corps conserve et reflète les expériences de vie, y compris les traumatismes de l’enfance, de l’âge adulte et d’origines intergénérationnelles. En 2020, j’ai approfondi mon expertise en me formant comme Somatic Experiencing Practioner , une formation que j’ai réussie avec succès en September 2024. Cette formation avancée m’a permis de mieux comprendre et adresser les manifestations physiologiques du stress et du traumatisme, permettant aux individus de se reconnecter avec leur corps et de trouver un chemin vers la guérison. Au-delà du travail clinique: Depuis 9 ans , je consacre également mon temps au travail de plaiyoder pour la jeunesse et à l’obtention d’une désignation de technicien en travail social. Ce travail m’a permis d’être en première ligne de l’intervention en crise, de planifier et d’exécuter des programmes de leadership et de soutien après l’école pour des jeunes du peuple autochtone à haut risque. Mon engagement envers le bien-être des personnes dans tous les aspects du corps, de l’esprit et de l’âme m’a permis de m’épanouir en tant que thérapeute et éducateur. Dans le cadre de mon travail en gestion et résolution des traumatismes, j’ai également dévloppé l’ atelier The Somatic Apple Tree, qui permet aux individus de connecter de manière créative les points de leur histoire de vie et de leur expérience à travers l’art intéractif.
