Treloar Physiotherapy Kerrisdale
#203 - 5511 West Boulevard, Vancouver, BC, V6M 3W6
Alexia completed her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia, where she also earned a Bachelor of Kinesiology. She has received her Clinical Pilates certification through Calibrate, holds Level 1 certification in the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Program and is certified in treating running injuries through The Running Clinic. Her journey to become a physiotherapist was inspired by her passion for health sciences and how the body moves. As someone who grew up actively involved in sports such as dragon boating, cheerleading, gymnastics, track and field, and ultimate frisbee, Alexia developed a deep appreciation for movement and its impact on overall well-being. During her undergraduate studies, she was drawn to the breadth of a physiotherapist’s role, from empowering individuals to regain function and mobility in daily life to helping athletes return to sport. Alexia values working collaboratively with her clients to create treatment plans that combine education, manual therapy and exercise. Outside the clinic, Alexia enjoys running, lifting weights, exploring new cafes and delving into a good book. She is conversational in Cantonese and is passionate about helping her clients feel supported in achieving their health and movement goals.
