Hi, Nice to meet you! I’m Nicola, and I’m so excited to be part of the team here at Resilience Physiotherapy. I grew up on a farm in Kingston Ontario, spending my childhood running around outdoors, climbing trees, and riding horses (as well as doing my fair share of farm work), and developing a life-long love of the great outdoors. Helping to train horses and teach horseback riding lessons left me with a fascination for movement mechanics, and an interest in how to teach different movement patterns. I completed my Master’s in Physiotherapy at McMaster University, and a clinical residency in orthopaedics at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. I’ve spent the last decade helping people get back to moving better and feeling better. I specialize in orthopaedics, sports medicine, and women’s health. In the clinic, I don't believe in one-size-fits-all treatments: I love blending precise hands-on therapy with movement-based recovery to help you move with strength and ease. Whether you’re recovering from an injury or surgery, navigating any aches and pains of parenthood, dealing with symptoms of menopause, or just want to feel stronger and more confident in your daily life, I'm here to help you get back to doing what you love.
If you are a new patient or returning patient who hasn't been seen for over 6 months, please book an Initial Physiotherapy Assessment.
