Dr Freud détient un baccalauréat en sciences (haute distinction) en anatomie et psychologie de l’Université McGill, un doctorat en chiropratique (très haute distinction) de l’Université Parker à Dallas, au Texas et un diplôme en neurologie chiropratique (très haute distinction) de l’Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. Il est certifié par l’American National Board of Chiropractic Examiners et l’Ordre des Chiropraticiens du Québec et est membre de l’Association des Chiropraticiens du Québec et de l’Association Chiropratique Canadienne. En 2007, Dr Freud a obtenu le statut de Diplomate du American Chiropractic Neurology Board (ACNB) et devint un des premiers chiropraticiens canadiens à posséder cette certification. Il a depuis complété des formations en Neurologie Fonctionnelle du Carrick Institute of Graduate Studies pour le traitement de commotions cérébrales, de conditions vestibulaires, de troubles de mouvements et de troubles de neurodéveloppement. Il a été examinateur pour le ACNB et a aussi aidé à établir des programmes éducatifs en Neurologie Chiropratique à Calgary, Toronto et Montréal. En plus d’être en pratique privée depuis 1996, le Dr Freud est professeur adjoint d’anatomie à la faculté de médecine de l’Université McGill depuis 1999. Il livre des conférences Adjusting the Brain à l’échelle internationale depuis 2010 sur la gestion des commotions cérébrales et l’application de la neurologie fonctionnelle. Dr. Freud holds a Bachelor of Science degree (High Honours) in Anatomy and Psychology from McGill University, a Doctor of Chiropractic degree (Highest Honours) from Parker University in Dallas, Texas, and a Chiropractic Neurology degree (Highest Honours) from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR). He is board certified from the American National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and l’Ordre des Chiropraticiens du Québec and is a member of l’Association des Chiropraticiens du Québec and the Canadian Chiropractic Association. In 2007, Dr. Freud obtained Diplomate status from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (ACNB) and became one of the first Canadian chiropractors to have this certification. He has since completed Functional Neurology training from the Carrick Institute of Graduate Studies in the treatment of Concussion, Vestibular conditions, Movement disorders and Pediatric neurodevelopment problems. He has also been an examiner for the ACNB and has helped establish Chiropractic Neurology educational programs in Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal. In addition to being in private practice since 1996, Dr. Freud has been an Adjunct Professor of Anatomy for McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine since 1999. He has been lecturing internationally on concussion management and functional neurology applications through Adjusting the Brain seminars since 2010.
