CERTIFICATIONS Masters Certificate in Osteopathy (M.C.OST) Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) Certified Personal and Group Fitness Trainer (PTS,FIS) BIO Growing up, Jason has always had a love for sports and being active. Through high school and into college sports such as baseball, hockey and volleyball were a staple in his life, especially volleyball where he played at Mohawk College, and later went on to coach for several years as the team’s Strength and Conditioning Coach. It was the years as a fitness professional that drove his desire for knowledge further, as many clients were looking for ways to move pain-free. Jason’s Osteopathic approach is to look at the whole picture, not just the complaint or painful area, as often the root cause of the problem is not where the pain is located. A treatment may also include exercises, stretches and strategies for you to implement as Osteopathy helps the body to self-regulate and self heal. Jason not only provides and facilitates this, but educates clients on how they can take control over their own healing and journey to moving pain-free. Jason is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (DOMP) as well as a part-time professor at Mohawk College in the Health, Wellness and Fitness program, a certified personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist.
