Osteopathic Manual Therapist Emran has studied Neuroscience at the University of Toronto followed by Osteopathic Manual Therapy at National Academy of Osteopathy. He has been a lifelong athlete in fitness training, strength and conditioning and has great interest in Mobilization therapy and Myofascial bodywork. Emran’s interdisciplinary background helps him to connect the patient’s physical experiences, with their state of mind and emotions as well as their lifestyle and habits, to create the most effective treatment plans. Emran’s approach to osteopathic treatment is unique, innovative and prominent. Each manual osteopathy session with Emran can include some or all of the following: Osteo-articular (gentle joint mobilization), Muscle energy techniques, Soft tissue therapy such as Trigger point therapy, Myofascial release and Positional release therapy, visceral manipulation, Cranial-sacral therapy, Therapeutic exercises and Lifestyle and Nutritional advice. Emran spent his adult life learning about Physical fitness, Psychology, Neuroscience and Osteopathic Therapy. Through that he gained an understanding of the complicated human mind/body connection. He is addressing the mind/body/lifestyle connection in his treatment and recovery plans for the patients to help them with all their health and wellness needs including chronic pain conditions.
