Catherine (she/her) is a Registered Physiotherapist. She attended Western University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science, with a specialization in Kinesiology. Before pursuing a master’s degree, Catherine worked as a Registered Kinesiologist. During this time, she had the opportunity to work with individuals with hip and knee osteoarthritis through the GLA:D program, and teach virtual exercise classes for older adults. She attended McMaster University for her Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy. During the physio program, she completed a variety of placements, including a placement in paediatrics where she developed a passion for working with children. She also travelled to Thunder Bay, ON to work with rural communities and explore Northern Ontario. Catherine is passionate about advocating for underserved populations and gender equality in healthcare. She has an interest in reproductive and pelvic health and is currently the Advocacy Lead for the Women’s Health Division of the CPA. Outside of work Catherine loves staying active through tennis, powerlifting and hiking. She also loves plants, baking, and arts and crafts!
