Dr. Avery Umphreys earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic and graduated with honors from Cleveland University-Kansas City in 2020. While at Cleveland, Avery took part in different clubs on campus to help improve his clinical skills. On top of the clubs and education learned at school, he took over 500 hours of continuing education which helped elevate his clinical knowledge even more. He is excited to use these tools to help bring his patients the best care possible. Dr. Avery is from Council Bluffs, IA and graduated from Treynor High School, a small school 10 minutes east of Council Bluffs. There he was involved in many extra-curricular activities. After high school, he attended Missouri Western State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. In his free time, Avery enjoys playing disc golf, hunting, and hanging out with his girlfriend Katie and their dog Gentry. Avery and Katie enjoy going to the gym, being outside, and trying to keep up with their dog.
FOR NEW PATIENTS! The first visit will consist of a detailed history, movement assessment, orthopedic and neurological testing, and any other tests that may help gather information. This will allow us to create an individualized care plan catered to your goals and needs that will help you get back on track and head in the right direction. More often than not, treatment will happen on the first visit.
