Julia is a dedicated physiotherapist with a passion for helping clients move pain-free and achieve their physical goals. She holds a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Lethbridge. Julia’s background in kinesiology laid the foundation for her understanding of human movement, while her physiotherapy training provided her with the skills to develop effective rehabilitation programs. Her approach combines hands-on therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education to empower clients to take an active role in their recovery. Julia believes that exercise prescription is the most effective tool for long-term healing and injury prevention, and she works with each client to create personalized programs that meet their specific needs and goals. Throughout her career, Julia has worked closely with university sports teams as an athletic therapist, giving her hands-on experience with high-level athletes and a deep understanding of the physical demands of sport. Whether recovering from injury or looking to improve mobility, Julia collaborates with clients to ensure they return to movement safely and confidently—whether that’s running a marathon, playing their favorite sport, or simply moving without pain. Outside of her work as a physiotherapist, Julia is an avid outdoor enthusiast. A lover of mountain biking, snowboarding, skiing, backcountry skiing, and hiking, she understands the physical demands that these sports place on the body. Having experienced the challenges of injury and recovery herself, Julia is committed to supporting others in regaining the ability to enjoy these activities and improve their overall well-being.
