Dr. Simeoli offers one-on-one chiropractic care that is patient-centered and goal-specific. He utilizes his background in exercise science and strength and conditioning to provide manual therapy techniques and active rehabilitative exercises to help reduce one’s pain and optimize their performance. Dr. Simeoli received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the University of Bridgeport (UB) and graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors. He is recognized as a chiropractic physician through the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) after passing parts I, II, III, IV, and PT sections. He is registered as a licensed chiropractor within the State of Connecticut and is a member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) and the Connecticut Chiropractic Association (CCA). Dr. Simeoli is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). His coaching resume includes training athletes at the high school and collegiate level, return to play programming, and group fitness classes. He completed his undergraduate studies at Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU), where he received a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology. During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Simeoli served as the President of the Exercise Science club and studied biomechanics, sports psychology, and nutrition. He has always been an advocate for pursuing further education, especially in the realm of sports medicine and strength & conditioning. During his graduate studies at UB, he participated in the Human Performance Lab and completed various clinical rotations to gain as much experience as he could about diagnoses and treatment approaches for a variety of conditions. As part of the Human Performance Lab, he attended the Pro Football Hall of Fame Academy in Canton, Ohio to conduct sports science testing for the nation’s top ranked high school football players. Dr. Simeoli also completed a 10-week clinical rotation at the United States Dept. of Veteran Affairs hospital in Newington, CT. During his time at the VA, he worked with United States military veterans and learned how to operate in a multi-disciplinary setting and manage more complex, multi-faceted conditions. Other clinical experiences include working at the University of Bridgeport Health Sciences center, where he worked with the general public caring for a diverse patient population in Bridgeport, CT. Some of Dr. Simeoli’s hobbies include playing soccer, cycling, snowboarding, and hiking. He enjoys traveling with his wife and walking along the beach with his two dogs. Dr. Simeoli enjoys reading the latest research on new therapies and techniques and attending national conferences and professional seminars so that he can continue to deliver the highest quality of care possible to his patients.

Evaluation Visit (60 minutes)

The initial evaluation includes a detailed assessment performed by a licensed chiropractic physician. This visit includes acquiring a thorough medical history, joint and muscle palpation, orthopedic, and neurological testing, and a functional movement assessment. Each patient receives an individualized treatment plan focused on their specific goals and objectives and can expect re-assessment checkpoints to measure progress. Treatment services are performed on the initial visit and may include spinal manipulative therapy (SMT), myofascial trigger point release (mTrP), instrument-assisted soft-tissue mobilization (IASTM), myofascial cupping, and/or rehabilitative exercise as deemed appropriate by the clinician.
