Hayley is a Certified Athletic Therapist whose passion for injury rehabilitation and human performance was sparked by her own journey as a world-level competitive Irish dancer. Her firsthand experience with both the triumphs and physical challenges of high-level sport inspired her to pursue a career focused on individualized injury prevention and rehabilitation, with a specialty in elite-level dancers. Hayley holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Brock University, where she completed extensive sports medicine internships and worked year-round with the varsity rowing team, including traveling to the University Rowing Championships in Victoria, BC. She went on to earn a second degree in Athletic Therapy from Sheridan College, gaining hands-on experience as a certification candidate with Fort Erie International Academy’s preparatory basketball program, Olympia Sports Camp, and Brock University’s men’s varsity rugby team. Since becoming certified, Hayley has practiced in Niagara, Ontario, treating clients both in-clinic at the ProActive Centre and in the field through her work with Ridley College athletics and Brock University varsity athletics. Since returning to Calgary, she has practiced in private healthcare, collaborating with physicians and exercise physiologists. Her dual experience in clinical and athletic environments has equipped her with the ability to tailor care for a diverse range of individuals. Motivated by her own injuries and recovery journey, Hayley is deeply committed to ensuring every client receives personalized care and attention. Her approach combines manual therapy, modalities, and exercise-based rehabilitation techniques, thoughtfully customized to meet each client’s specific needs. She believes in the power of continual learning and strives to stay at the forefront of her profession to deliver the highest standard of care.
