Kelsey earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta after completing her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology at the University of Victoria. Kelsey's approach uses a combination of targeted exercise, hands-on treatment, and education to help patients understand their condition, recover effectively, and return to the activities that matter most. She has experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions, including sports injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. Kelsey also treats pediatrics patients (kids) from babies to adolescents. Before joining Element Therapeutics, she worked as a physiotherapist in Squamish and Whistler. Kelsey grew up in Golden, where she participated in gymnastics and figure skating, which sparked her interest in movement and rehabilitation. Outside the clinic, she enjoys skiing, climbing, hiking, and travelling the world with her husband.
If this is your first visit, if you have a new injury, or if your last visit was more than 6 months ago. This 60 minute appointment will include an assessment of the injury or area of concern, as well as treatment to the area. You will also be provided with education on the condition, advice for self-management between appointments, and a home exercise program if appropriate.
