Mark earned undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at York University, then traveled to Scotland for 2 years in order to earn his Masters of Physiotherapy degree. He became drawn to the physiotherapy profession after managing his own injuries as a long-distance runner in high school. Mark has experience working with athletes, post-surgical patients, motor vehicle accidents, weekend warriors, and work-associated injuries. He mainly utilizes fascial stretch therapy, massage therapy, trigger point release, joint mobilizations, exercise prescription, taping, dry needling and patient education to assist patients in managing their pain and restoring their optimal level of function. Marks’ vision is to assist his patients and the general population to face new challenges with confidence, resilience and insight. He has been recently certified with complete concussion management inc (CCMI), which is a 3-month course that helped him explore the latest research and evidence based approaches to help him optimize patient recovery for concussion patients. In his downtime he enjoys playing recreational volleyball, and continues to go on leisurely runs.
